Updated: Nov 4, 2020
This year presented many serious challenges for families throughout the region, including job loss and job insecurity. Are you a woman who needs some help finding your next job? We can help!
Our team at the Women's Employment & Resource Center (WERC) is now offering a 3-part remote training series called Project PIVOT. You'll participate from the comfort and safety of your home -- or from our office if you don't have a computer or internet access -- using a virtual on-line connection to our instructor.
The first part begins Wednesday, November 18. During the three days (Nov 18, 19, 20 from 9:00 AM to NOON each day) of this first segment you'll learn more about the online virtual meeting software called ZOOM, and the benefits of using the free Google Suite that you can use to prepare your resume, cover letters, and more.
Part II of the series will begin in January, followed by Part III. Details will be provided soon.
The training is FREE, and registration is required. All participants will RECEIVE A THANKSGIVING DINNER GIFT CARD FOR COMPLETING WEEK ONE
