Landlord-Tenant Law, Part I

Landlord-Tenant Law, Part I

New York State has a staggering amount of Landlord-Tenant and Housing Law, developed through a haphazard combination of lawsuits, court decisions, and legislation over more than two centuries. Given how often Mediators and Arbitrators work in these areas, it's helpful to understand some of the more common areas of disagreement. Leases, Rent, Security Deposit, Discrimination, Roommates, and (of course) Eviction will all be covered... but not all at once. To keep things manageable, this course will be split over two Third Thursday training sessions.

Refreshments will be provided. There is no charge for this training for Empowered Pathways Community Partners.
