Come to the Table
Are you looking for an opportunity to showcase your creativity and personal design aesthetic? On behalf of the Empowered Pathways Board of Directors, we cordially invite you to join with other designers at our COME TO THE TABLE event on Friday, April 28th, 2023.
The event features one-of-a-kind beautiful tablescapes created by local designers, a live and silent auction, basket drawings, a cocktail hour, and fabulous food by Hart’s Hill Inn! The unique fundraising experience supports the programs provided by Empowered Pathways.
Each Table Design is built around a theme. Your theme can be almost anything, from Paris in the Spring to Whiskey and Coke, or from Alone Together to Seaside Vacation! It is up to your creative and artistic imagination! It's a great way to showcase your talents and use it as a marketing opportunity.
The evening culminates with an exciting Last Chance Live Auction, where our auctioneer will close-out each table design and one lucky bidder will take their prize home with them! All of this makes for an evening everyone is guaranteed to never forget!
By becoming table designer, you are not only gaining great publicity and complimentary tickets, but are also supporting the services provided by The Women’s Employment & Resource Center and The Peacemaker Program under the umbrella of Empowered Pathways. The sponsor tickets also make an excellent gift for employees, loyal customers, and family members!

TABLE DESIGN GUIDELINES
Table Designs are auctioned, or can be purchased outright. The buyers/winners will be announced that evening and the tables will be wrapped up and taken home immediately.
Each Table Design is built around a theme. Your theme can be almost anything, from Paris in the Spring to Whiskey and Coke, or from Alone Together to Seaside Vacation! It is up to your creative imagination!
We want every design to have room to shine. If you need more than a tabletop, please specify the size of the space requested: eight, ten, or twelve feet wide. (All spaces are eight feet deep.)
The venue can provide a table to set with your design: 60” round, 30” square, or 72”x30”
You can instead supply your own table for the event, which will be auctioned as part of your Table Design. Better yet, don’t use a table at all! You can use a bed, a crib, a kayak, or a pot-belly stove for the foundation of your Table Design.
Table Designers may make Special Requests, such as electricity, a wall-backed space, a corner, or the ability to hang décor from the ceiling.
Each Table Design is issued two free tickets for the event. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.
Table Designers may finance their design themselves, or solicit Table Sponsors. Those sponsors will be recognized on the table and in the Program Book. You may leave business cards and other materials on the Table Design as advertisement after judging. All donations are tax deductible and a fillable receipt will be provided.
Sponsor yourself. You can use the event as a marketing opportunity for your own business.
Ask a family or friend’s business to sponsor you. Your design can highlight their brand!
Approach a business that complements your table design. Your creative touches give exposure!
Approach a business that sees you as a valued customer. You support them, they support you!
Consider small donations from many people, just as you would to raise money for a walk or run.
Join forces with other creative individuals and make it a team effort; multiply the fun at a fraction of the cost.

We are limited in the number of designers that can participate. Designers are chosen on a first come, first serve basis. Get in fast to ensure you are a part of this year’s event. This fun and unique event is growing every year, and this is your chance to be involved. Plan now to advertise yourself and show the generosity that makes Central New York famous.

You can either email the completed Designer Form or print and mail it to our Empowered Pathways office. The form includes our email address, mailing address, and contact information if you have any questions.
Please note, your registration form must be submitted no later than February 17, 2023.
